MapleStory Cleric Guide
--Wy become a magician.--
Once a Magician gets a high level it gets incredible strong, and he/she learns
kick ass skills (even exp increase at 70+). Its fast lvling and makes nice money :)
I think its the nicest class of all.
--MapleIsland guide.--
When you make your character make sure you put the right status
points. This is what you will need:
Str. 4 or 5
Dex. 4 or 5
Int. doesnt matter
Luk. doesnt matter
for a magician you dont need any strenght or Dexterity becouse you
wont be fighting with a sword, dagger etc.
Make your character, and go to the green snails on maple island.
Fight here until your level 8 and do the quest for green chair only becouse other quest will be
a waste of your time. When your 8 you are high enough to become a
magician and you will probably have enough money to buy your ticket to
Victoria Island (150 mesos) and for the cab to ellinia.(100mesos)

--Status.--
Your Luk will be based on your level; your level +3 luk so when your
level 10 you need to have 13 luk. You will need Luk so you can equip
Magician armors and weapons.
All points that doesnt go to Luk will go to Int. Practically each level
4 Int and 1 Luk. You will need Int for a high magical Attack.

--Skills.--
This is the most important of a magician; the basic skills. When you
will be high level you will need much mp but a high attack to. I think this is
the best and eazyest way of doing it.
Energie bolt will be your main attack till a level of around 18. It is
very important you keep this skill at 1! It is VERY important you will
max mp increase as soon as possible. Here for you will need 5 mp
recovery so that you will have to do that first.
Magic claw will be your main attack when your level 18 becouse than
it will do more damage than Energie bolt. You will need magic guard
max when your high level and going to fight monsters that will
hit 80% of your hp or even more! Dont put any skill point to Magic
armor since your becoming a cleric and you dont need it.

--Training Place.--
lvl 8-9 hit blue and green snails, when your on low mana just fight with sword.
lvl 10-18 slime tree in ellinia.(tree that grew)
lvl 19-22 pig beach(its a hidden-street) ask people to take you there
lvl 23-30 party quest is the fastest way for exp and money if you dont
want to party quest go kill horned mushrooms in ant tunnel 1 lvl 25+

--Become CLERIC.--
Now you are 30 and ready to go get the advancement. Revisit Grendal the Old
and he will say you have become really strong. He will give you a letter to
take to the job instructer in Victoria Road: Forest North of Ellinia. There
he will transport you into a dungeon. Buy potions before you enter it
because the monsters all take 2 magic claws to kill and they hurt you around
80 damage. You have to collect 30 dark marbles. When you are done climb to
the top of the dungeon and talk to the guy. He will give you proof of hero
and you must show that to Grendal. He will now give you the option to choose
your next job.
I would recommend not to buy each lvl that you can buy new armor's that'll
save you very much mesos. I think the best are: all lvl 10 equipment, the
level 18~20 and lvl 33. I recommend to do all the quest witch give good
items like gloves and shoes.
--Status.--
Still keep your Luk; Level +3 and the rest into Int, i can say that
you better put nothing into hp or mp.
--Solo CLERIC.--
This Strongest build, you will probable have the same as any other cleric at the end,
but its a differend way of building your cleric.
lvl 32~34 train in ant tunnel 1 since you have fast spawn rate here.
The best will be 1 hit with magic claw and maybe 1 heal to finish tham.
lvl 35~51 do the ludibrium party quest whitch will give you the fastest exp.
lvl 51~70 kill all kind of evil based monsters,
You can kill zombies with your heal, wraith will be good to.

--Training place, Party.--
lvl 32~34 train in ant tunnel 1 since you have fast spawn rate here.

lvl 35~51 do the ludibrium party quest whitch will give you the fastest exp.
Since every party needs a cleric, it will be not to hard to find your
self a party.
lvl 52~60 ZOMBIE LUMPINS PWN! you can get very fast lvls if you train in the zombie
lumpin tree near ellinia. At lvl 55 i get around 1 lvl each 2 hours here! And the dolls sell nice to.
60~70 zombie lumpins or fill in for yourself.

--Equipment.--
Since your a cleric and heal yourself you will need the best weapon
availeble but for the armor a would skip some parts like the
chaos/(female lvl 33 armor) i dunno name lolz.

--About Holy Arrow.--
Personaly i think holy arrow STINKS, althought there might be people who
like it and want to learn it but from my own experience its a waste of skill
points that can better go to other skills, like bless, invinceble.
You cant train with holy arrows very good, thats where you have heal for.
Holy arrow is more for like having some fun sometimes but if you wanna be strong,
dont spend any sk but the once you got left.
So i have in all my cleric guides holy arrow left at 11 at the end.

--Become Priest.--
When your lvl 70, go to your instructor in El Nath, she will send you to
grandel where you got the 1st and 2nd job to. Afer you talked to him, make
sure you have enough potions and go to zumbie lumpins, continue a couple maps
to the right until you see a portal in the right upper corner. Go in there and
you will have to fight a small version of grandel and he sommons tauromacki's.
After you killed him go to grandel and than go back to El Nath. After you talked
to your job instructor in El Nath you will need 1 dark crystal (you need more if
you awnser questions wrong). Go to sharp cliff II and enter a door up there, here you
will need to awnser question, thay are veryhard and make sure you have hidden-street open.
now go back to your instructor and he will reward you will a skill point.
Still keep your luk high enough that you can wear your equipment,
try to get as high int as possible you can do this by getting +int
armors and earrings etc.
70~90 for party priest, look for a good party and go do zakum or look for
strong monsters.
Solo, train at klocks or at high lvl phantom grim watches,
thay might give you a kage.
