You have absolutely no idea how many times I¡¯ll be training, especially in hot training spots such as Hime¡¯s, Dragon Nest Left Behind, Land of the Wild Boar, Pig Beach, STRAW DUMMIES, and etc., and someone will come in and start to KS (Kill Steal). Kill stealing is basically what it¡¯s name states- stealing someone¡¯s kills. It¡¯s especially annoying because it hinders training. So, how do you handle the situation? This is where the etiquette comes in. Many people choose to take the low road, and instead, resort to bad language and insults on race, family, etc. The sadder thing is, it¡¯s not as if you know the person. So, in many cases, people choose to share. Some choose to party, while others would rather split the map into two. In many cases, this will please both players, and you can even make friends, as well as gain a faster spawn. However, if you¡¯re a bit low leveled for the map, then the faster spawn will actually NOT help, but in fact will probably kill you.
But what happens if the KSer refuses to leave, and doesn¡¯t want to party? I myself was a victim of this yesterday, while training my Dexless Sin at Land of Wild Boar. A group of 3 people came in. As the higher leveled out of all of them, with Ilbi¡¯s and a decent WG, I was able to defend my map. However, in several cases, this will backfire. For instance, let¡¯s say someone also has a Dexless¡ except he¡¯s a 160 NL. In this case, you¡¯re kinda screwed. And it¡¯s your fault. So if the person refuses to leave, it¡¯s usually best to take the high road and give him or her the map, or, if you¡¯re feeling ballsy, call for backup. It¡¯s a bit immature, but it works. Alot.
Basically, if you¡¯re there first, it¡¯s your map. However, if you DC or leave, it¡¯s no longer your map, and if someone gets to it before you, you must respect that.
